dc.description.abstract | Abstract The role of project management in organizations has grown exponentially. Organizations have identified a need to formalize a practice of project management and development of standards to excel in the areas of project management. Project Management Office (PMO) is often considered main source to achieve level of excellence in coordination, standardization and management of the practice of project management. As a requirement of MSPM program and for the purpose of practical implementation of Project Management knowledge in any organization, a comprehensive report is to be compiled which consists of two main sections. In first section a PMO model has been recommended for a BPO company, IBEX Global Solutions. Moreover a thorough insight into a Project Management Office (PMO) is also part of this section. In second section a sample project “Migration of telemarketing, sales & services campaigns to ETQ Infrastructure” has been selected. Scheduling, resource allocation and costing of selected project have been practically performed in MS Project and numerous reports have been generated. | en_US |
