dc.description.abstract In modem world’s technology a lot of countries are in pursuit to advance in science & technology, such as Japan, Korea, America and China. The reason is to propose such kind of a system which is to make living easier for the users especially physically challenged and old people. For this project the title is “IR TECHNOLOGY BASE POWER MANAGMENT AND HOME AUTOMATION”. This project basically a model that allow implementing an electrical relay, SSR (Solid State Relay) or opto trick control. However, this scheme base on microcontroller so the microcontroller programming use as a main information source to code the data has been used and send out to the power line(domestic line) to operate or function the required relay or equipments. Implementation of this project make life easier for users without pay out too much money on new domestic lines, only salvage the domestic line which is already in used. The basic idea of this project actually to construct such kind of a system which can control all electrical devices(appliances).which are commonly used in every house through a single IR remote controller, the end user has distance from the switch, it have still capability to control all electrical devices in office or home. en_US
