dc.description.abstract The main objective of this research was to investigate the impact of sustainable HR practices on the well-being of healthcare employees with the mediating role of spiritual leadership in the healthcare organizations of Karachi, Pakistan. Methodology & Design: The methodology applied in this study was quantitative via executing the deductive research approach. In addition, explanatory type was employed and data was gathered at one point in time. For data collection, 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was circulated among employees of all designations in different healthcare organizations of Karachi, Pakistan. Data was examined through using the Smart PLS. Findings: The study found that sustainable human resource practices have a positive impact on the well being of healthcare employees while spiritual leader has played a mediating role in positively impacting the sustainable HR practices and employee well-being link. Limitations: Research was specifically based on the healthcare organizations operating in Karachi, Pakistan. Moreover, due to time constraint a limited number of respondents were collected which leads to limit the generalizability of the results. Recommendations: Organizations should adopt sustainable HR practices and leaders should possess spiritual characteristics to enhance employee well-being which in turn result in producing a heathy work environment as well as outcomes. Organizations should foster a culture of well-being by supporting their employees in managing their personal and professional lives and by implementing wellness programs that specifically address mental, emotional and physical well-being of employees. en_US
