Abstract:
Purpose: The aim of this research is to how intellectual capital can directly and
indirectly contribute to the sustainable production through green supply chain
adoption the objective of this study is to examine the impact of intellectual capital on
sustainable production.
Methodology & Design: A quantitative approach was adopted for this study with 5-
point Likert scale and the data was collected through primary and secondary means
the sample size of the data is 384 Krejcie and Morgan, (1970) regression analysis is
going to be done with a cause-and-effect relationship.
Findings: the findings shows that the relationship between the dependent and
independent shows a positive relationship and have a significant impact on the
research and the mediating variable shows no mediation towards the DV and IV and
hence it gives an indication that GSCM doesn’t have a significant impact towards SP
and IC
Limitations: Small sample size, data collecting hurdles, limited analysis depth,
possible bias, lack of longitudinal perspective, limited causal inference, validation
difficulties, time limits for literature study, and limited peer review possibilities are
among them.
Recommendations Embracing intellectual capital and green supply chain
management practices can lead to sustainable production, fostering environmental
responsibility and driving long-term economic and social well-being in the country.
