Abstract:
The impacts of logistics to the environment especially in developing countries of the globe like Pakistan are turning out to be more of a concern. They include polluting the environment, utilizing many natural resources, and health complications to the community. These problems are addressed by green logistics practices (GLPs) but implementing them is not without its difficulties. Some of the challenges that have been identified are scarce resources, inadequate infrastructure, and lack of cooperation from people who have a role to play within the logistics chain. This research focuses on the role Supply Chain Traceability (SCT) and Logistics Eco-centricity (LEC) can play in enhancing the success of Generalized Learning Paradigms (GLPs). The research uses two key ideas: The Natural Resource-Based View (NRBV) and Resource Dependency Theory (RDT) are the two categories in this field. NRBV focuses on three strategies for companies: which he has worked with to curb pollution, advance product development to environmentally sustainability, and enhance long term sustainability. These strategies include the application of block chain, IoT and AI in making logistics more open, efficient and sustainable. RDT also demonstrates that to obtain the required resources and to overcome the challenges for adopting GLPs, it is necessary to cooperate with outside agencies. Stakeholder engagement is essential in the quest for sustainability. Consequently, this study contributes original knowledge to the scant literature on green logistics in Pakistan by evolving GLPs, SCT, and LEC. It provides non-abstract recommendations that a business organization can adapt when seeking to enhance its economic, social, and ecological sustainability. This can assist in creating efficient supply chains that are also resilient. The evidence establishes how tools like NRBV and RDT could help businesses to implement green logistics, manage environmental issues, and keep up the competition.
