Through this initiative, Scent O Matic is trying to fill the space between personal care solutions that are quick, affordable, and eco-friendly for the student and professional lifestyle. The pay per spray vending machines by offering premium quality branded replica fragrances, will replace the need for traditional full sized perfume bottles and replacing them with an easily accessible, responsibly consumable alternative. Scent-O-Matic vending machines will be strategically placed in high traffic areas creating instant access to a variety of fragrances that can be tailored to a customer’s own preferences often in or near universities. This project prioritizes ease of use through intuitive interfaces, a variety of payment methods and real time inventory tracking to prevent service from breaking. The operation is built upon a robust supply chain framework, incorporating a network of local partnerships to provide high quality product at minimum cost and least effect on the environment. Capitalizing on its innovative design and trends in urbanization, social media influence, and personal grooming awareness, the project emerges in its own particular space of influence. It utilizes omni-channel marketing strategies in communicating to consumers by creating brand awareness and a loyal follower base through the use of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Scent- O-Matic also engages in eco conscious practices including removing single use plastic containers and utilizing energy efficient technologies in an effort to share with the world global sustainability goals. This project sees itself not only as a convenient grooming solution but as a socially and environmentally responsible business model. It is scalable, and in the future, it will enter malls, airports, gyms, and other public spaces, opening up new channels for its target audience and revenue streams. Scent-O-Matic connects the dots between overlooking modern lifestyle and long awaited necessity, instant confidence through an innovative, practical and sustainable approach to personal care.
