| dc.description.abstract | The connection between Green Human Resource practices and job satisfaction with a focus on leadership and its mediating effect within Pakistan’s IT sector. The data sources used in this study include the responses of 375 purposive sampled participants. The study seeks to answer the question: how does green human resource management practices such as green recruitment, green training, and eco-friendly performance appraisal affect employee satisfaction? According to the study, transformational leaders contribute to the success of Green HR strategies by bridging organizational goals with constituents’ aspirations, establishing sustainable organizational practices, and improving employees’ satisfaction The findings indicate that Green HR principles are particularly critical in enhancing the job satisfaction of employees, and that leadership is an important moderating variable. Moreover, transformational leaders reinforce the adoption of green initiatives as well as create an environment where employees are predisposed to voluntary actions that enhance environmental protection and corporate objective achievements. These findings show that firms with dedicated Green HR practices have better levels of (employee) retention, morale and productivity, satisfaction and engagement. | en_US |
