Abstract:
This project report encapsulates a detailed campaign to improve the recruitment process at Now Software, an IT services and consulting company, with help of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Lever, and a task management tool, Trello. Today at Now Software, the recruitment process is done manually by tracking documents, working with several tools outside the software, and having disparate processes that create inefficiencies like creating multiple profiles of the same candidate, delays when transferring candidates between recruiters/stages and the inability to monitor recruiter productivity. These difficulties are to be resolved in this project by automating simple and repetitive operations, optimizing the tracking of candidates, as well as the communication between members of the recruitment department. Lever ATS has lots of features, which are simple to use, including candidate sourcing, resume parsing, pipeline display, and candidate communication in bulk. Combined with Trello’s versatile system of assignments, the mentioned above system will allow tracking recruiters’ activities in real-time, provide a smooth cooperation between the team members, and improve the process of decision-making. Incorporation of these two platforms will not only help in eliminating overheads but also increase the effectiveness of the recruiters, as well as decreasing the time to hire. This paper presents the design of the system, its implementation plan or strategy, and the advantages that comes with its use, in addition to coming up with a plan on the pilot sites to be used in the testing of the system, training of the people who are going to use the system and how the success of the system will be measured after implementation. Integrating Lever ATS into the range of Now Software tools and connecting it to Trello will help the company to optimize its recruitment and strengthen interaction with a potential candidate to support the company’s development. Finally, the proposed solution is to ensure a systemic and data-centered approach of recruitment process which correspond with strategic goals of the company
