| dc.description.abstract | As industries are growing bigger and bigger day by day, the safety of its employees and machines are also a big concern of the authorities. Gas leakage can cause explosions which can have devastating consequences. So it is necessary to devise such systems which can detect this leakage of gases. We have designed Electronic Multi-Gas Detection systems which automatically can detect leakage of gases and can also take precautionary measures such as turning on the exhaust fan and closing the valves of the pipes to prevent the accidents. Temperature is also being detected for safety purposes. This microcontroller based project then also communicate with computer using RF transceiver and also maintains a log of the activities happening in the gas detection unit together with the time and date. This report describes our motives in detail. It also contains description of the hardware and the software parts of the project. We have also described the obstacles which we faced and the future developments that can be made in this project. | en_US |
