dc.description.abstract This thesis highlights work done on Rajian area in the village Dhok Qazian, and involves the seismic interpretation of the subsurface geology. The study is fortified using petrophysical analysis of Rajian-01 well. It starts with the marking of reservoir formations like Chorgali, Sakesar, Lockhart, Khewra and the main faults in this region. In the petrophysical analysis, logs like the GR log, LLD, Neutron and Density logs are used to determine quantities like; volume of shale, volume of clean lithology, saturation of water and saturation of hydrocarbons, effective and average porosities. This gives a general idea about the characteristics of the reservoir formations. en_US
