dc.description.abstract | The present study pertains to the modeling of the productive zones from seismic data. This was carried out by using seismic lines, 0-845-KBR-42, 0-845-KBR-43, 0-845-KBR-38, 0-845-KBR-39 provided by the Directorate General of Petroleum Concession. The area lies in the Middle Indus basin and the three reflectors have been marked those are Samanasuk, Shinawari and Datta formations. During the study, first of all prominent reflector has been picked from the seismic sections. The interpretation of present study three reflectors were marked at different time. R1 is Samanasuk Formation, R2 is Shinawri Formation and R3 is Datta Formation then note the time of each reflector against the sho tpoint. Manual contouring was done at the level of Samana Suk, Shinawri and Datta Formations in order to confirm the subsurface structure. After that with the information of the contour obtained reservoir was confirmed. | en_US |
