dc.description Supervised by Mr. Muneer Ahmad Khan en_US
dc.description.abstract Mianwali is pat of Punjab Platform, which is considered to be a gentle eastwardly monocline rise at the Upper Indus Basin. Seismic lines 904-MWI-011, and 904-MWI-026, shot by OGDCL in1965 in Kundian were obtained for studies from LMK Resources by the permission of Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions (DGPC). Four prominent reflectors were taken and the sections were interpreted. No or very less normal faulting exists in the area. Previously this area was thought to have faults and structural traps, but after the interpretation, the conclusion is obtained that this area should be looked for stratigraphic traps, pinch outs to be precise. en_US
