dc.description.abstract One and two dimensional Synthetic Seismogram was studied during the project. Tool used was SeisModel along with demonstration data set provided with software. Seismodel is personal interactive seismic modeling software. With the help of this software the effective geologic modeling was done on provided data. Ease of use, speed of calculation and modest hardware requirements allowed effective modeling to be accomplished even on an average PC/laptop. Different geologic scenarios were stimulated that show the model strength to model different geological situations and allow the exploration professional to determine possible solutions and to eliminate improbable geologic models. In short we can determine the seismic response of our geologic imagination by using this approach. en_US
