2D Seismic Reflection Data Interpretation of Tobatack Singh

Abstract

This dissertation contains the study of 2D seismic reflection data interpretation of selected seismic lines of Tobatack Singh, Central Indus Basin, Pakistan, for delineation of subsurface structures favorable for hydrocarbon accumulation This study area is situated in the Tobatack Singh district of Punjab province and is licensed to Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited (OGDCL) The seismic data for this dissertation was provided by the Land Mark Resources (LMKR) by the permission of Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions (DGPC) The data comprised ten seismic lines, base map, 867-TTS-01 867-TTS-02 867-TTS-03 867-TTS-04 867-TTS-16 867-TTS-18 Four prominent reflectors (green, yellow, pink, and dark yellow) were marked on the basis of their reflection, Normal faulting exists in the area and associated Horst and Graben structures.
