dc.description.abstract Background: Lifestyle medicine has emerged as a crucial aspect of preventive healthcare, emphasizing the role of lifestyle choices in maintaining overall well-being. The association between lifestyle medicine and mental health is particularly significant among university students, who are vulnerable to stress and mental health issues. Objective: This study aimed to assess the awareness of lifestyle medicine and its association with the mental health of university students aged 18-25 years in Islamabad. Methodology: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among university students in Islamabad, using a self-administered questionnaire to assess awareness of lifestyle medicine and mental health status. Results: The study revealed a significant association between awareness of lifestyle medicine and mental health status among university students. Students with higher awareness of lifestyle medicine reported better mental health outcomes. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of promoting lifestyle medicine awareness among university students to improve their mental health and well-being. The findings have implications for the development of targeted interventions and policies to support the mental health of university students. en_US
