Abstract:
The nineteenth century was a period of political and social changes. In which colonialism was openly playing its job, it was subjugating the Muslim world by trying all the tactics and destroying their beliefs, faith, identity, and civilization. In such situations, it is the blessing of Allah that reformers, thinkers and intelligent people come to the fore and raise their voices. One of these powerful voices was that of Sayyid Jamal al din Afghani, who fought headlong for Muslim awakening. He emerged as an ardent advocate of Islamic modernization and pan-Islamic unity. He offered a unique combination of religious reforms, political activism, and intellectual engagement. This research will explore the relevance and adaptability of Afghani Islamic revivalist ideas to understanding and addressing the challenges facing the Muslim world today. The research explores what changes have occurred in the modern era in the context of Afghani's views on the revival of Islamic awareness.
