dc.description.abstract In Qadirpur area the twenty-five wells have been drilled for development of field and about four hundred twenty kilometer lines of 2D seismic survey has been carried out by OGDCL in 1990, 1992 and 1998. The primary objective in the Qadirpur area is Sui Main Limestone of Eocene age and Habib Rahi Limestone of the same age can be considered as the secondary reservoir. Shales of Sembar and Lower Goru Formations have been established as main source in study area. The reflectors marked are Habib Rahi Limestone and Sui Main Limestone, these two reflectors are acting as reservoirs. The time picking of reflectors was done at regular intervals, after each ten shot points. After that velocity was picked at regular intervals, which is also after each ten-shot point. en_US
