Sports Tracker

Abstract

The proposed project aims to address the challenges faced by local youth in fulfilling their sports interests and finding opportunities for healthy competition with other individuals or local teams. Currently, many young individuals struggle to find available sports grounds or facilities for booking, which limits their ability to engage in sports activities and showcase their skills. SportsTracker aims to bridge this gap by providing an online platform that allows users to easily discover and book vacant sports grounds or venues. By leveraging the convenience of technology, SportsTracker enables users to make online reservations from any location and at any time, eliminating the hassle of manually searching for available options. While some businesses have adopted online booking systems, the overall familiarity and adoption of such technology among the local community may be limited. Therefore, the SportsTracker app aims to enhance people's ability to learn and use the online booking system by providing a user-friendly interface and a seamless booking experience. The development methodology chosen for this project is Agile methodology. This methodology involves breaking down the project into multiple phases and iterations, allowing for continuous collaboration, feedback, and adaptation. By employing Agile methodology, the development team can efficiently manage the project, address any challenges or changes that may arise, and ensure the successful delivery of the SportsTracker app to meet the needs of the local youth. The Agile methodology provides a flexible and iterative approach to project development, enabling the SportsTracker team to adapt to changing requirements and deliver incremental improvements throughout the development process.
