The issue of oil tanker accidents on roads in Pakistan has emerged as a critical concern, encompassing far-reaching implications for public safety, and legal liability. This thesis provides a comprehensive exploration of the legal framework surrounding oil tanker accidents on roads and its liability in Pakistan, focusing on the challenges that arise and the potential avenues for improvement. The study critically analyzes the multifaceted dimensions of the issue, including public safety, environmental impact, and legal liability. By examining the existing legal landscape, regulatory measures, and technical aspects, the research sheds light on the urgent need to address the inherent risks associated with oil truck accidents. The study also highlights the complexities of negligence concepts, liabilities of stakeholders, and compensation mechanisms within the legal framework. It follows doctrinal legal research. It adopts critical, comparative study of the research along with qualitative conduct of the research. The research recommends a forward-looking perspective by discussing the prospects for enhancing the existing legal framework to effectively mitigate the risks posed by these accidents. Through a balanced assessment of challenges and potential solutions, this thesis contributes to the ongoing discourse on developing a more robust legal framework for addressing oil tanker accidents on roads in Pakistan. |
