dc.description.abstract The profit-oriented pharmaceutical industry, carrying its shady designs beyond ethical considerations, is exploiting the patent rights laws of Pakistan, against the very interests of poverty-stricken peoples, which is a sheer legal opportunism, necessitating a comprehensive set of legal rules under a sincere and holistic approach for the best protection of right to health and medical transparency. This research study aims to analytically lay out ways to fill the loopholes in domestic law left open by negligent compliance of international conventions and also to give directions on protection of patent right but not on the expense of pandemic or common person health measures. en_US
