dc.description.abstract Cloud storage industry is rapidly maturing. The centralized cloud storage hosts can monitor, censor, and disclose data to third parties, so it's prone to privacy leaks as they can lose, alter, or scramble the data stored by their users. In decentralized cloud storage system, the files are stored and protected with the help of blockchain technology. Blockchain is nothing but a chain of blocks (computers or servers), which are connected by using cryptography. Each block contains a set of transactions which has been encrypted and shared in a secured way among multiple servers. Blockchain technology ensures confidentiality and integrity, which can be implemented by using peer-to-peer network. StorageLocker is blockchain integrated environment that is the catalyst needed to boost storage to the next level in terms of security and privacy. StorageLocker is a decentralized cloud storage service in which the files are stored on multiple computers called nodes on a decentralized network instead of a single place. Like with conventional cloud storage, when you need the file, you can request it and receive the file but in the most secured way possible en_US
