dc.description.abstract | The main goal of this project is to create an extensive supply chain plan that is especially suited for the Shifa Hospital's supply chain division. Working closely with the organization and our supervisor, the project was designed collaboratively with the goal of addressing important aspects of supply chain management in this industry. The company's operations were carefully examined in order to evaluate how well it performed in a variety of situations, most notably before and after the COVID-19 epidemic. Our objective was to provide strategic solutions by utilizing a descriptive technique and gaining insights from secondary data sources. Our results highlight the necessity of robust and flexible supply chain methods, especially when confronted with unexpected and significant interruptions. To that purpose, we have put forward a strategy for inventory management as well as a number of tactics intended to strengthen the organization's capacity to handle unanticipated difficulties. The recommended solutions are expected to be implemented by the organization by 2025, which would be a proactive measure to improve operational efficiency. | en_US |
