dc.description.abstract | This research project examines the financial and strategic implications of the merging of Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) and Suzuki Motorcycles Pakistan Limited (SMPL), as well as PSMCL's subsequent voluntary delisting from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This study employs a comprehensive quantitative approach to assess the company's pre- and post-merger financial performance, focusing on important economic measures, synergies, and shareholder value implications. The strategic analysis examines competitive positioning, market dynamics, and the potential advantages and disadvantages of the merger and delisting. The findings show that, while the combination provided operational efficiency and prospects for market consolidation, the early financial performance post-merger was hampered by increased costs, operational disruptions, and a hostile market climate. The study concludes with recommendations for careful financial management and strategic initiatives to realize the intended benefits of the merger. | en_US |
