Cloud Centered Customizable University Management System

Abstract

This is final year project report of “Cloud-based customizable university management system”. This report consists of complete technical details about “Cloud-Based Customizable university management system” including introduction of application, Background of idea and literature reviewed to build the basic structure of project, problem’s aim and statement, analysis and design phase, implementation detail and testing phase. This project is about shifting whole university system on the cloud. Further every user can customize the system as per need. The main aim of the project is to reduce money which every university spends on IT infrastructure. This amount keeps on increasing with arrival of new technologies. The work on the project was started with requirement phase. Project team itself develops requirements as it is a product based project. Project is divided into several modules. To map that requirement, design phase was started. Then design and development phases are carried out in parallel. Whenever each module’s design is completed, development of that phase gets started. In the end, testing is to be done. Such a system which can provide user facility to shift such big application on cloud can be very useful. As in upcoming time, cloud is going to be a major feature of computing world. You don’t have to spend lots of money and you pay on as per use basis. Upper management of different universities would be very glad by listening this feature of cloud. This university management system is just an example of how things can be implemented on cloud, once it is achieved and all com and pros are considered, then so other systems can also move to cloud.
