dc.description.abstract | The present day information driven industrial and information revolution has unpinned and continuously exploring the potential of contemporary technologies such as internet of things (IoT), pervasive computing, office automation and deep learning etc . In this realm smart phones are now not a medium of voice contact but acting as a handheld processor available round the clock for our information needs, hence making its self as the foremost necessity of our day to day business and routine operations. In this context, construction sites are not an exception by continuously exploring for easier along with convenient ways for both efficient, effective and transparent construction management through smartphones. Generally construction sites are at remote locations being at distance from the company offices, the construction workers perform work while remaining independent from the main offices and hence act without continuous supervision. This result into a situation where there may exist a blackout between the actual and reported work progress. In this project a mobile app will be developed for enabling construction companies and help construction workers log and process their work. Along with the same, construction clients will also be made part of the team working on their respective sites for continuously receiving updates about their projects. As a test case, the app will be used in android environment. | en_US |
