dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, service robots are very popular in robot family. Service Robots have been widely used in many fields. We are designing a restaurant service robot. This restaurant service robot can transfer dishes in the restaurant. This robot could be capable of serving food to the required table of the customer in the restaurant. This robot is based on the characteristics of wheeled robot. The final positioning accuracy of the robot would be 10cm from the table. It is autonomous, has higher payload and is able to travel and dock at the target table. Our objective is to implement this restaurant service robot in the restaurant. This robot will facilitate the customers. It’s a wheeled base robot that will travel on the pre-defined path to the required table. The position of the robot can be determined and path planning can be done. Target table and roll out the serving tray. With this robot, an android base mobile application will be beneficial for the restaurant owners. Customer would not be wait for the waiter to come on his table, they can simply place their order through app and robot will bring their food on their table | en_US |
