Abstract:
The objective of this project is to develop a tracking device to track lost dementia
patients. An individual with dementia disease may experience difficulty in taking care
of issues, speaking with other and perceiving their environmental factors. Therefore,
they are in danger of getting lost or got injured even in recognizable spots. An
individual with dementia disease had hazard that they can be kidnaped or could meet
some other comparative occurrences. For dementia patients, in addition to cognitive
and functional deterioration, dementia prompts conduct and mental complexities,
expanded utilization of health and social services, complicated clinical management
of other diseases, and expanded danger for unexpected issues, for example,
incoherence, falls, motor vehicle crashes, incontinence, cracks, and contaminations.
We are developing this app for tracking these dementia patients.
We are making a device for them in which sensors are attached. Each Patient
is assigned a unique subscriber id. Whenever any dementia patient got lost their caring
ones could easily track them with the help of our app. The Dementia Patient Tracker
device have information about the subscriber id, name, issues and Emergency contact
number of dementia patient’s guardian. Caring Ones of Dementia patients can track
their loved ones by entering the id issued to them and we will show the exact location
of their loved ones by tracking them through GPS. We are using Scrum model
methodology for making this project. It will be helpful for dementia patients, Tools
that we are using are Android Studio, Java Language, XML, SQLite, Tracking Chip
or Sim Card
