dc.description.abstract | In an examination hall, invigilators are instructed to perform a variety of duties, the most important duty is to maintain discipline and make sure the examinees do not cheat during the exam, despite the invigilators best efforts the examinees still find ways to cheat. This is a cause of concern for the exam conducting institute. And it will put the future of the examinees at risk, as even if they passed using unfair means they will not be able to work with significant level of competence and might even try using unfair means in the future as well. In this age where computers are now able to perceive and analyse their environment with a high degree of accuracy, we can use this advancement to automate the process of invigilation. The proposed system would be used by the person in charge of the examination hall and activated at the start of the exam, the camera would monitor the examinee, and point out violations. In case of a violation, the system would notify the invigilator. Moreover, the examinee violation stream reports would be collected and available | en_US |
