Abstract

In this modern and growing world of technology where people want to stay connected to everything there are still some major form of trading like auction is happening in old traditional ways. In traditional auction the day of auction, place and the arrangements for auctions are advised to the overall population through electronic or print media. The individuals who wish to participate in the auction should initially enlist himself and afterward show up at the scene of the auction on the given date and time. This strategy limits the majority of the intrigued bidders out of the city or nation. This method also requires a lot of paperwork which is to be maintained. They need to monitor the bidders and the dealers until their last settlement. So, to overcome this problem we will develop a web-based application called OLTRA using ASP .net as front and backend framework. The global reach of online auction marketplaces allows the buyers and sellers to overcome geographical constraints and purchase products anytime from anywhere over the internet. Online auction market provides the consumers with great advantages of low prices, greater product selection, and greater efficiency compared to the usual traditional one markets.
