Abstract

In this project I am developing a web-based platform for international students who face different types of problem regarding their language barrier, universities, admission, and cultural barrier. The Education Host PK (web-based application) is open for all international students in higher education in Pakistan. Everyone wants in this world quick solution for their problem. I am developing a platform where a student can find fast and approachable solution of their problems. The purpose of this study is to explore the problems that international students are facing in Pakistan while studying in higher Education institutions. Even some students who are basically born in Pakistan in their parent’s country but completed their schooling abroad, so they feel Pakistan, a new country. Moreover, in a new academic culture, sometimes they feel isolated that causes physical and emotional discomforts to the students. So, I will provide them help to decrease these barriers through our project. Through our web based project students can use filters according to their interest to get information about different Universities. They can use province filters i.e. subjects filter. The Introduction of proposed application is to enable international students at Pakistan universities to be invited as a student. Students thereby can search about universities as per their interest and can experience Pakistani culture at first-hand. It is the only platform which offers this across Pakistan on the web based. The Education Host PK program is open to all international students in higher education in the Pakistan. Motive behind this web-based project is to give ease to the international students.
