The Film Feed

Abstract

The Film Feed is an online content database and web service for Pakistan. The content includes movies, TV shows, music videos, events, and other news. Pakistan being a Muslim majority country is different than other countries. The cultural, religious, and traditional differences from the outside world require us to have a platform of our own, where we can rate and review the content created in a sophisticated manner. After this when we look at our growing cinema industry and our people’s interest in it, we can see that there isn’t a platform on the internet that can truly focus on Pakistan’s content and provide reliable and timely updates towards it. Over 10,000 Urdu feature films have been produced in Pakistan since 1948, as well as over 8000 Punjabi, 6000 Pashto and 2000 Sindhi feature-length films. But there is no proper directory to view their respective place in our history. The Film Feed is created to provide information, ratings and reviews about all these things and to also connect people from the industry to interested parties overall. The rating and reviewing process is included the rating system, reviewing system, age appropriate content according to Pakistan’s population’s values and critic’s reviews
