Abstract

Facial Recognition is becoming the go to security method, be it small devices such as mobile phones, or surveillance systems. The proposed project is to create a facial recognition system that can identify authorized persons, keep track on entries, and rings an alarm in case of unauthorized access. The system will keep a record of the number of people who have passed, on a day-to-day basis. This system will help institutions put in place, a robust security system that can automate entries into an area. Various algorithms will be used to maintain accuracy and reliability of the system. One of the many different machine learning and image processing detectors will be used for face detection. Some classifiers will be used for recognizing the provided images
