dc.description.abstract This project aims to develop a home automation device integrating the concepts of IoETs/IoTs. It would connect household appliances smartly and the user would be able to control the device using the mobile application and voice command. The Project can mainly be divided into two parts: • Mobile Application: This will provide a graphical user interface (GUI) to control the home devices. • Hardware: This is modified by using appropriate sensors and circuitry to control the devices remotely. During this particular project, we aim to develop a smart home automation system that would introduce improvements over the existing Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple’s Home Pod. The project would maintain the functionality of a virtual assistant and would also be able to do most of the tasks autonomously i.e. the lights on-off features, and temperature adjustments. If summarized, the project would result in the development of a device that would tailor the user experience of the user with his/her household devices according to his/her personal preferences. The system would blur down the boundaries between the heterogeneous devices by merging them into a unified system that could be controlled by the users’ voice commands and also through a mobile application. en_US
