Career Guider

Abstract

Career plays an important role in one’s life. However, it is very difficult to choose a right career path especially in the student life. Everyone desires to choose a field according to their educational background. Apart about 80 % of the students are not able to choose right field due to parental pressure. Additionally, parents enforce their child only to be a doctor or an engineer by profession. Therefore, they cannot understand their child abilities. Secondly, when students observe his/her successful relatives they want to be a successful like them, but they cannot understand their own abilities. To overcome this problem, we developed an android application “Career Guider”. It will facilitate child towards career growth. Additionally, it also provides guidance about the top ranked universities against his/her details enter in the given questioner form in the application and submit the form, it will request the python localhost server where the model and dataset is trained and both are pickled in a file which is placed in the server and it will help for prediction of that specific user which will enter the credentials in the questioner form of application and it will show the user about the best universities according to his details. Moreover, the interface of the application will be user friendly
