Abstract:
This report comprises the detail study about optimizing the supply chain management to enhance the operational efficiency of ISMMART Industries. It discusses the various challenges relating to supply chain including the poor use of technology, demand forecasting, poor production planning, weak inventory management control etc. and the probable solutions to deal with such issues. Additionally, it furnishes an extensive industry analysis, scrutinizing the internal and external factors affecting the overall competitive advantage of large scale industries. The report predominantly focuses on the Pakistani context. Given ISMMART’s predominant engagement in the textile, electronic industry, it grapples with various challenges arising from its precarious supply chain to maintain competitiveness in the market.
