dc.description.abstract The Cyber Guard is an innovative initiative designed to strengthen the digital defense of NESCOM’s equipment against exploitation and malicious activities. The Cyber Guard Project is not only a system; it’s a shield logically made to protect infrastructure from potential vulnerabilities and breaches. The primary objective of this system is to streamline ICT equipment management and enhance security protocols within the infrastructure which conduct comprehensive vulnerability scanning and port analysis via particular commands The system incorporates multiple roles with specific responsibilities. The workflow begins with technicians scanning devices and entering relevant information about equipment into the system while generating QR codes for the identification of equipment. Supervisors assign devices for evaluation, and evaluators conduct analysis using Linux commands and security tools. Evaluation reports are reviewed by supervisors, who make final recommendations, while procurement teams and auditors ensure compliance with security protocols and categorize devices based on their status. The Project was successfully delivered to NESCOM for testing, resulting in several outcomes, security protocols were achieved by implementing evaluation reports. Streamlined device management was facilitated by QR code integration, while real-time notifications reduced communication delays between roles. Security measures were taken that included SQL injection prevention, effective session handling, and Kali Linux tools integration. en_US
