dc.description.abstract The growing need for digital systems has also increased the significant threat of malware attacks on these systems. To counter this situation, Nescom wanted a system that is protected from all such malware, therefore providing no threats to their systems. The objective of Cyber guard Malware is to create a system that is reliable for software authentication and malware detection. Due to the increase in Cyber-attacks, malware detection on software has become compulsory for Nescom before integrating those software in the system. Through unique hash code generation of software, the system aims to check their authenticity using external APIs thus ensuring that only well-reputed software are being used in Nescom. There are four key users of the system, starting from the technician responsible for entering the software details. These details are viewed by the second user which is analyzer, the analyzer uses different cryptographic algorithms to generate unique hashes and then uses external API to check their authenticity and transfer these results to supervisors. Supervisors on analyzing the result generate remarks on weather the software is acceptable to be used in Nescom or not. The fourth user admin is responsible for the registration of new users and addition of APIs that are used in the system. The results fetched demonstrate the efficiency of the system in checking the authenticity of each and every software used within the system. These results help a lot in mitigating all malware within the system thus providing smooth working of the system. In conclusion, this project aims to provide a robust solution for software authentication by detecting all malware integrated within the software. This helps to fortify Nescom’s digital systems again all evolving cyber threats. en_US
