dc.description.abstract This paper examines the transition towards a multipolar world order, focusing on the shift from unipolarity dominated by the United States to an emerging multipolar system with powers like the BRICS nations. It explores historical power configurations, including the post-Westphalian order, the Cold War, and the post-Cold War unipolarity. Key factors such as economic indicators, global alliances, military strategies, and technological advancements are analyzed to understand contemporary internationalpolitics. Using the Power Transition Theory, the study assesses the potential for future conflicts and cooperation. It concludes that the rise of the BRICS and other emerging economies is pivotal in this transition, with significant implications for global governance, economic stability, and international security. en_US
