Abstract:
In light of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, this study examines the changing dynamics of Sino-Afghan relations, with a particular emphasis on the connections between China and the unrecognized Taliban government and the impact of anti-Taliban forces on these ties. The study focuses on how anti-Taliban organizations respond to China’s growing influence in Afghanistan and evaluates the Taliban government’s ability to continue and grow its cooperation with China. Through the prism of complex interdependence, the article explores these bilateral engagements in further detail. In order to comprehend the strategic, economic, and security aspects influencing bilateral ties, this study uses qualitative analysis.
