Abstract:
According to WHO Organization, the global pandemic brought about by COVID-19 affected 772,166,517 cases around the world. Regionally Southeast Asia as the Origin of the spread was recorded with the stats of about 61,210,423 cases. The transmission to Pakistan began with two cases initially which fireballed the storm since its sharing of the borders with the most outrageous Countries in Asia China and Iran. In Pakistan Karachi and Islamabad being the largest metropolitan cities have been greatly vulnerable to this outbreak and have been encountered with approximately 139,844 (Islamabad cases) affirmed cases. The purpose of this study is to explore the perception of patients of COVID-19 regarding the long-term impacts of the disease experienced by the individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 relative to the acute symptoms and immediate consequences that were diagnosed and cured timely. The strategy we’ll be using to collect the data includes Purposive and snowball sampling since our sample that is to be collected will only focus on the Covid-affected patients from a diverse demographic background. The main objective of this qualitative study is to provide valuable insight into various aspects of the pandemic individuals focusing on psychosocial, physical, and economic challenges which will be assessing physical health, mental well-being, and economic stability.
