Abstract:
MultiSense is an Android-based application designed to manage and monitor diverse IoT devices across various environments. This project addresses prevalent issues in existing IoT solutions, such as fragmented interfaces, security vulnerabilities, and usability challenges, by providing a unified interface for remote sensor control and monitoring. The key objectives of MultiSense include developing a modular and scalable system architecture, implementing efficient communication protocols, ensuring real-time responsiveness, and maintaining stringent security measures. Technologies employed in the development include Android Studio, Figma, Java, XML, and C. Security measures such as authentication, encryption, and authorization are implemented to safeguard user data. The development process has resulted in an enhanced user experience, with improved scalability and adaptability across home automation, automotive monitoring, industrial control, and environmental sensing. Future enhancements will focus on increasing compatibility, supporting multiple sensor/ control boxes, integrating GPS navigation, and implementing live video and audio recording. MultiSense represents a significant advancement in IoT device management, offering improved control, efficiency, and security within IoT ecosystems.
