dc.description.abstract | Cognitive health assessment is a critical component of overall well-being, particularly as populations age and the prevalence of cognitive disorders rises. Traditional methods of assessment, such as neuropsychological tests, are often limited by factors such as accessibility, subjectivity, and cost. In response to these challenges, this study proposes a novel approach to cognitive health assessment through the integration of facial expression analysis and cognitive game. Our system, CognitiveWell, leverages advancements in deep learning and sentiment analysis techniques to provide a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive health. By analyzing subtle changes in facial expressions during game play and capturing user interactions with cognitive tasks, CognitiveWell offers an assessment of cognitive function. The integration of facial expression analysis allows for the detection of emotional cues that may be indicative of cognitive decline, providing valuable insights for early intervention. The cognitive game incorporated into CognitiveWell, particularly the memory game, offers a unique opportunity to assess various aspects of cognitive function, including memory retention, attention span, and executive function. Through the analysis of game outcomes, CognitiveWell provides a quantitative measure of cognitive performance, enabling the implementation of effective assessment strategies. In addition to its potential for early detection and intervention in cognitive decline, CognitiveWell aims to address existing gaps and challenges in cognitive health assessment. By providing a user-friendly and accessible tool for cognitive health evaluation, CognitiveWell has the potential to revolutionize the landscape of cognitive health assessment and improve outcomes for individuals at risk of cognitive impairment. Through the development and validation of CognitiveWell, this study contributes to the advancement of cognitive health assessment methods and underscores the importance of innovative approaches in addressing the growing challenge of cognitive decline. | en_US |
