dc.description.abstract The primary goal of this project was to employ computer vision technologies to create an automated toll tax system. The project uses state-of-the-art computer vision and image processing techniques to solve the shortcomings and inefficiencies of conventional toll collection systems. For drivers and toll booth personnel, the present manual toll collecting procedures frequently cause long lines, delays, and human error. Furthermore, the use of live attendants opens doors for fraud and other schemes. Our initiative offers a novel solution to these problems by identifying matching cars, correctly recognizing license plates, and producing toll receipts in a couple of milliseconds. Our solution seeks to reduce the need for physical attendants while increasing efficiency, accuracy, and user convenience through the automation of the toll collection process. The project scope includes creation of the user interface, account administration, toll receipt production, license plate recognition, and testing and validation. With this project, we hope to transform Pakistani toll collecting, enhance the entire travel experience for drivers and attendants, and further the development of a safer and more effective transportation network. en_US
