dc.description.abstract The escalating demand for smart energy systems in today’s world, driven by factors like smart cities, smart houses and increased digitalization, necessitates strong intelligent energy management and measurement systems. This increasing reliance highlights how vitally important a ro- A smart energy measuring and management system should be implemented to provide a consistent and effective power supply. But putting such a system into place comes with a set of difficulties, especially when it comes to data storage and retrieval reliability, security, and transparency. A distributed ledger, made possible by blockchain technology, provides a novel means of ensuring safe and transparent transaction archiving and retrieval. This study presents a blockchain-based system that uses smart contracts to securely store and retrieve energy consumption data from customers. A smart metre provides accurate billing information, customer empowerment, and demand responsiveness to assist consumers in understanding their electricity consumption. A user-friendly interface encourages energy awareness and conservation by giving consumers simple access to their usage statistics. The project is a major step forward in energy management, supporting the aims of global sustainability and opening the door to a more open and effective energy environment. en_US
