dc.description.abstract Mobile Technology generations from IG to 5G have been designed with an aim to meet the needs of the end-users and network operators. Each generation among them must meet specific requirements like latency, throughput, reliability, etc to become part of that generation. The terabits per second communication in the sixth generation (6G) has come to the spotlight after recent advancements in semiconductors. The prior research has been done on the operation of terahertz devices, propagation characteristics and different solutions like physical layers. However, the integration of this complex technology into the mobile networks is still an issue. In this research, we have discussed the problems that must be addressed to make the terahertz spectrum a strong contender for usage in future mobile networks from the MAC layer, Network layer, and Transport layer perspectives. Link budget analysis and the impact of directionality has been presented. We also illustrated the differences in deployment density that can be expected for mmWave and terahertz systems. The prime focus is to enhance the performance of end-to-end data flows on a terahertz connection. MATLAB has been used for channel modeling and link budget analysis of min waves and terahertz spectrums for future mobile networks. en_US
