dc.description.abstract Renewable energy (RE) based distributed generators (DGs) plays a vital role in power generation with the increase in the global warming. DG based on solar energy, wind, mini- hydro, biomass along with the utilization of fuel cells and turbines are the critical assets in energy division. Advantage like expand ability, environment friendly and flexibility have made DG an appealing choice for designing modem electric-grid An electrical Micro-grid comprises of different loads and DG that work as a single controllable system. An integrated power distribution system Micro-grid can work in parallel or in isolation from the main power Micro-Grid. Concept of Micro-grid presents the reduction of numerous reverse converssons in an individual AC or DC Micro-grid and conjointly encourages variable renewable AC and DC resources The interconnection of DGs to the utility grid through control electronic converter mas risen concerned around safe operation and protection of equipment's In proposed research work, the execution of hybrid AC-DC Micro-Grid framework is analysed in islanded mode -tybrid Micro-Grid is considered as the current research area in field of control system Engineering, since with the passage of time energy utilization will be increase, the expandable ature of fossil fuel causes worldwide environment issues. We cannot always rely on AC conventional grid therefore, there is a need of pollution free resources. In most cases the DC wower is generated by the natural resources In order to In order to integrate AC Micro-Grid and DC Micro-Grid a concept of Hybrid Micro-Grid is introduced. The advantage of traducing Hybrid Micro-Grid is that, it provides high efficiency, clean and low-cost energy. also reduces the grid congestion and complication by giving an improved operation and mability of the regional electric grid. With many advantages certain challenges were also atroduced such as power converter issue and controlling issue. The main objective of research to analyze the performance of second order sliding mode control for Hybrid Micro-Grid and btain the stabilized output voltage Proposed controller is implemented on rectifier and verter systems, it improves the steady state and dynamic response of the system. System is sted under sudden load fluctuations. Simulation is done in Matlab/Simulink software, the sults were obtained by considering the balanced, unbalanced and non-linear loads on AC and C bus en_US
