dc.description.abstract | Transformers are an essential part of the transmission system. Since transfomer are costly, the flaws are to be corrected before it happens. In distribution system, transformers have a vital role to provide electricity to the final consumers. In the distribution system transformers are in a risk whenever an overloading is occurred. For the transformer protection we used fuses to save the transformer from any failure. In condition like this it is very important for power organization staff to be notify of such fault as a quick and smart response to bring a quick power to the area affected. Before when there Is an electricity breakdown due to fuse failure the station was informed by the person that are been affected and also, they don't have any information about fault. This project will sdentify the fuse fault and inform the grid station at that time with the help of LabVIEW and GSM module incorporated in distribution transformer Due to which repairing team need more time to detect and correct the fault. Our proposed system not even can automatically inform the station about the electricity breakdown but also inform the station by using GSM module about the reason of breakdown like fuse failure due to overloading, open-circuit or short-circuit The previous system has no facility to inform automatically about the reasons why there is electricity breakdown | en_US |
