dc.description.abstract | This study explores the nuanced relationship between board gender diversity and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Pakistani firms' unique socio-cultural and regulatory context. This research provides a detailed literature review on the leadership role of women in promoting socially responsible business practices. Consider historical and cultural perspectives to acknowledge the changing landscape of gender dynamics in Pakistani organizations. Research is needed to tackle unique social challenges in Pakistan's business environment, outlined along with opportunities.The study found that well-established institutional systems are crucial in promoting gender diversity on company boards. Corporate Governance and CSR should address gaps in gender diversity research. By doing so, we can foster a more inclusive and diverse business environment that is fair and beneficial to the bottom line. The study also examines management implications and provides insights into how business leaders in Pakistan can navigate the relationship between board gender diversity and corporate social responsibility to achieve optimal business performance.This approach thoroughly examines 50 academic sources from Google Scholar, followed by a statistical analysis of kurtosis and skewness values. A regression analysis revealed the effect of board gender diversity on CSR, while the correlation matrix and diagnostic criteria provided a holistic view of the relationship between the variables. The tabulated results provide a clear and concise summary. The discussion explores the findings in detail, considering implications for corporate Governance, gender equality, and responsible business practices. The conclusion synthesizes the literature review results and empirical analysis to provide a general understanding of the research contribution. Opportunities for exploring the complex interplay between board gender mixture and businesscommunity responsibility in the Pakistani business environment are highlighted in the recommendations for further research. | en_US |
