Impact of COVID 19 On Health Awareness, People Response, Economics and Environment of Society

Abstract

NOVEL CORONA VIRUS also known as COVID 19 emerged from china, Wuhan Provinee in December 2019.World Health Organization(WHO) declare worldwide emergency on 12 January 2020.Different countries apply precautionary measures to stop the spread of virus and most use method is Lockdown of cities. Pakistan declares lockdown on April 1 and extends until May qh In this Research survey study we collect data from different places of Rawalpindi and Islamabad which are most affected from COVID 19 pandemic lockdown. The qualitative method with closed ended questions is adopted to conduct this study. For this study 100 respondents are selected who are belonging from different age group and occupations. A total 30 questions are prepared which are divided into different categories further. The main aim of this questionnaire research survey is to find the impact the COVID 19 pandemic on Environment in terms of positive and negative, the health impact on people lives. The Pre-and post-awareness about COVID 19 of people. Other than this we aim to find General Awareness of people about corona virus and impact of COVID 19 pandemic on Businesses and incomes of people. The results are divided into three categories. The frequencies of the respondents on the basis of age group, gender, and their occupation. In 2nd category correlations results are find out and in 3 category cross-tabulation results are finding on the basis of occupation of respondents. All these results are analysis by using the SPSS software. The results shows businesses are much effected from lockdown so majority responders give their opinion about Smart lock down. Responders have moderate level of knowledge about COVID 19 and most of the respondents do not follow government guidelines and SOP,s.There is need to focus more on the avwareness and educate the people about consequences of Corona virus.
