dc.description.abstract The tendency to link terrorism with Islam marked the United States as epicenter of Islamophobia since attacks of 11 September butonce again it gained currencyunder trump. An exaggerated fear of Muslims and their religion has been prevalent in the America but hate crimessurge during his tenure emphasized that trump caused uptick in hatred and exclusion as his hyperbole rhetoric, executive orders ultimately created hostile environment for Muslims and set the precedent for hostile atmosphere for Muslims not only within US but in other countries as well as perpetrators of hate crime were not shy away from invoking his name as inspiration source.Through rhetoric Islamophobia propagated by trump and after effects in form of surging hate crimes experienced by Muslims were testimony of the fact that trump emboldened Islamophobia. His inflammatory rhetoric inspired people to express their hatred which contributed to divisive atmosphere. Top appointments to the administration made by him highlighted another concern that Islamophobia was fully embraced by white house.Role of power lobbies, funding networks to fuel Islamophobia with goal to serve their vested interests unfolded in this study posit factors that established Islamophobia is not limited to political mechanism but also extend to financial apparatus in form heavy funding channeled into the network to escalate Islamophobia. Despite Biden presidency marked the reversal of policies undertaken by trump but the way Islamophobia was emboldened by himdistorted Muslims position in the country. en_US
